  1. In 1987, Nancy earned her way into the
  2. LPGA Hall of Fame. Being inducted into the
  3. LPGA Hall of Fame is very different from
  4. being inducted into the National Baseball
  5. Hall of Fame or the Pro Football Hall of
  6. Fame. In those sports, you are voted into
  7. the hall. In the LPGA Hall of Fame, you
  8. have to win entry. To be inducted, you have
  9. to be a member of the Association for at
  10. least 10 straight years. You also have to
  11. win a combination of 2 major tournaments
  12. and 30 regular tour events, 1 major and 35
  13. regular, or no majors and 40 regular tour
  14. events. The current LPGA majors are the
  15. U.S. WomenΓÇÖs Open Championship, the
  16. Mazda LPGA Championship, the du
  17. Maurier Ltd. Classic, and the Nabisco
  18. Dinah Shore.
